We’re back! After taking a week off we’re back with a great show. The farm phone has been ringing like crazy and we have a great set of calls! We catch up with old friends and new. After the calls, the and the round up we talk about rutabaga. This is our first year growing them and we just picked our first plant and have had some good luck cooking it.

Next weeks show is 135, since it ends in 5 we would like to do a listener call in show. So call the farm phone 206-202-GOAT. Tell us how your garden worked out this summer.

This week we take a look at what and why we dehydrated this summer. This continues a long series of looking an at putting food up for winter by dehydration. Lot’s of people freeze their food, some can, but we like to dehydrate a lot of stuff. It uses less room, doesn’t need power, and it’s easy.
