Welcome to another show. A call to the farm phone (206-202-GOAT) gave us our topic for the week. It’s a great one, and I know we’ve talked about it in the past, but it’s normally after Thankgiving. So here you can get some ideas for this years thanksgiving. We have a great set of calls to the farm phone, so keep em coming!

Here’s a flickr set with pictures about picking lima beans:

And here’s a video extra this week:

Hi Misty and Andrew

I’m catching up on some of the podcasts that I have missed - why do I have less time to organise myself now that I am not working ??? Makes me wonder how I had time to work before ;0)

The weather is beginning to get colder, but we are still having some beautiful sunny weather in Zurich - sooo different from the cold, dark days in the west of Scotland. I have dragged out my slow cooker (crock pot) and am hoping to make much more use of it. Which brings me to a question - do you use a crock pot? If so, what do you like to cook in it? On Ravelry there is a thread that I am following and a lot of people put frozen meat in, which is completely alien to me. If you use a crockpot, do you do this> What are your favourite cuts of meat?

Hope you are both well.

Off to sit on the balcony with a cup of tea - oh, life is so hard here in Zurich ;0)
