Misty and I worked on it today a lot, and it should be fixed in your sbuscribed feeds. The main directory should be updated by tomorrow. Misty thinks somehow it the mp3 got dropped from the RSS feed, which is odd.

Hi Erica! I've verified the problem with iTunes (Andrew doesn't use it at all). I'm not sure why it's not showing either. Hopefully we can figure it out soon!

Temera,

I made a few changes to the post, maybe iTunes wasn't liking it? iTunes can be funny sometimes, hopefully this will help.

Hi, Andrew and Misty! I sent an email to the GFL account about a potential visit this weekend if you're not already swamped with commitments. Maybe it got caught in the spam filter. Let me know if you're up for visitors!

Tamera -- iTunes was causing me some problems on this show, too. I just went to the GFL page in iTunes and clicked on the Download button and everything was fine. You can also try unsubscribing first, then subscribe again. Sometimes that straightens things out.

Those are fantastic Christna, really a great micro-power solution. Just imagine if more dairy's would do it, and sell the power back to the grid!

Hello there Andrew and Misty! Thanks for your show, I listen to it on the Subway trains on my commute through downtown Boston. Always great to be able to learn about things like dehydrating cabbage and goat worming in the middle of the city!

A few episodes ago, Misty, you and Andrew were speaking about the possibility of harnessing the methane from dairy cows (and other grouped, ruminant animals) and converting it to methanol for power.

I know that the image of a little cow muzzle with a pipe is rather hilarious, but the concept is in active development. Here are a few articles that describe some existing "biodigester" projects.

<a>
<a>
<a href="http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Vermont+dairy+installs+biodigester--sells+energy+it+generates+to+...-a0147011064" rel="nofollow">Vermont dairy installs biodigester--sells energy it generates to utility company.</a>

It's a concept that some students at MIT Sloan, the business school, have been working to streamline and market to developing nations as well as domestically.

It's something I'd like to help popularize among farmers in the US. Not very glamorous, but I think it could save a lot of money and reduce greenhouse gases.

Thanks for your show!
