The best lie in is one where you wake up every now and again, stick your nose out of the duvet and snuggle right back under for more snoozing. The very best lie in is as above, but enhanced by the pleasure of knowing that your partner is freezing his butt off doing your chores and will shortly be bringing breakfast in bed;0) Enjoy! I know you said that they don't seem as maternal as some animals, but it must be a bit of a shock to go through that and then baby is whisked away.
