Hey John G,

Yes, on outline makes a huge difference, live and learn. I did hear you with the comment about the riddler. :)

Gardening for us is all about learning. This year our corn grew well, but was too close and we had small ears. Send us some of your peppers we lost ours this year. Ah well! Maybe one year we'll learn how to be more consistent. Though I'm not sure where the peppers were so I may have pulled them thinking they were weeds. Oops!

Yeah, I've found that out too. When you are calling to leave a message on a phone, people expect you to be not as precise as you would like. But when you are recording something for airplay, it is better to have a script or outline. And I hate it, hate it, when I repeat myself. I don't know if you caught it, but last week he mentioned me by name regarding the clues in the promo for theriddler.podshow.com.

We got peppers coming out of ear now and the tomatoes are almost done for the season, unlike last year when we had 10% on the vine by the first frost. We did two thing wrong: planting too densely and trimming too aggressively, so next year the plants go in virgin beds and we cut the number of plants in half. I'll try to have a bee question by Thursday.

Hey John G,

Bah I didn't really make the point I wanted to make. The fact that he expected the IAS to show a different speed when he had a head wind on takeoff really bugged me. Maybe he was just running at the mouth, which we're all guilty of. Anyways, I should have made a crib sheet before calling! Heh. :)
